I have been waiting for an opportunity to show off these beautiful Kevin Warren pieces since Christmas. They were special gifts from a very special friend. The gallery describes them as 'functional pots' but I think they are far too lovely to put to any use. However, I'm sure that holding the names for the book draw won't harm them so here goes.....
..... and the winner is ......
Kentish Maid, If you send me your name and address via the email at the top of the blog, I will pack up Good Things in England and send it to you. Congratulations, I hope you enjoy some of the old recipes or perhaps just having a lovely Persephone book.
More books coming soon.
PS I have noticed that the link to Kevin Warren's work only takes you to the gallery. It requires a few more selective clicks through artists to find his page. There isn't a direct link I'm afraid.
Ooh, thanks for sharing the mug and bowl, M. They are absolutely gorgeous, you lucky thing!
ReplyDeleteJ, when you make that visit to Devon, we'll get D to take us to the studio and I'll treat you to a piece of the pottery. I hope that encourages you to set a date!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love art-pottery. Your mug and bowl are lovely. Congratulations to Kentish Maid, Good Things is such an evocative read.
ReplyDeleteI am so thrilled to have won this book...and to have had my name pulled from such a gorgeous bowl too. Many thanks and I look forward to reading the book.
ReplyDeleteThat pottery is fabulous. I wish it weren't so time-consuming for me to travel to your part of the world, I'd be round that gallery like a flash.
ReplyDeleteKentish Maid - the book is in the mail. I hope you like it.
ReplyDeleteBreussel - There are so many lovely pieces in the gallery that I dare not visit. Perhaps I could go in Lent, armed with a sense of self-denial!
