A longer sequence this time. from the top: The Age of Innocence, The Enchanted April, Great Expectations, Loving and Giving, Perfect Happiness;
Goodbye to all That, The Affair, The Rendezvous, Behind the Scenes at the Museum, Circles of Deceit, The Means of Escape, An Old-fashioned Arrangement.
Brilliant. But oh dear, these stories are all tending towards the sad and tragic, aren't they? I'm going to see if I can put together one with a happy ending next!
ReplyDeleteAn Old-Fashioned Arrangement isn't tragic, far from it. Thank you for featuring it, Monix, even if at the bottom of the pile!
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily a sad ending, I put the Old-fashioned Arrangement as a 'Means of Escape'.
ReplyDeleteI don't see the see the final title as 'bottom of the pile' in these sequences, more as the climax or, as in this case, the dénouement . . .
