A new look

I have grown tired of the appearance of Random Distractions and am playing around with new templates, fonts and colour schemes. What do you think of it so far?

  1. What a gorgeous photo! Looks a bit like the cliffs leading to Baggy Point. The new look meets with my approval!

  2. Well done, Cath! You have obviously made that same climb many times. Glad you like the new look, I could change the picture from time to time.

  4. I like it, M! Clean, clear and easy to read and that's a fine North Devon photo. I have been struggling to get a photo banner on my blog; unfortunately, I'm with Typepad, otherwise I could ask you how you did it . . .

  5. Love it, M. What a difference. I am probably a tad biased, but I think a white background is hard to beat, and of course now it has a beautiful picture of the sea at the top I shall probably hang around RD even more than I used to!

  7. I am so glad that you all like the new look. If I had known how easy it would be to change, I would have done it a long time ago.

Diane - the picture (as Cath recognised) was taken on the path up to Baggy Point. That is the walk I hope we'll do soon, should we ever manage to get a dry day together.

  8. Love the new look. I enjoy photos on my favourite blogs. It's nice to see where people live (especially as most of you seem to be on the opposite side of the world to me!)

  9. Sue, thank you. I'm very pleased with the response to the new layout. Do you have a blog we can visit over on the other side of the world?

  10. Thanks, Susie. I have hesitated for a long time, thinking I would either lose my old posts or have to transfer each one, laboriously, to the new page but it was all done with a single click. As one of my former head teachers used to say - 'When all else fails, read the instructions'.

I love to read your comments and promise that I will reply as soon as I can leave my garden, sewing room or kitchen!
