On my recent trip to Washington DC to visit my brother, we visited the new annex to the National Air & Space Museum, the Udvar-Hazy Center. I saw the Concorde, the Enola Gay, the SR-71 Blackbird among other famous planes. It's an amazing place.

We visited the museum in order to let my 90 year old mother-in-law see a Wellington bomber. Her late husband piloted them in WWII for 25 tours over Berlin. Few of his comrades survived and he never spoke of his experiences. It was a very moving trip for us.

Correction to that last statement - 25 tours over military targets in Germany, not Berlin.
