"At every step you make me digress; today I do not know whither I am destined." (Tagore)
Millie is just the prettiest little girl and so expressive. How will you stand it when she goes home?
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Glad you had a brief respite. Our pattern of intense afternoon thunderstorms continue. Right now it's going at it pretty heavy. I wonder how m.20 would like it?
e, she went home this morning. We feel quite bereft but, thanks to Skype and a video cam we can chat every day. We think she is very pretty even though she still has very little hair and people tend to think she is a boy!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes please . . . more sea pics, M. It's beautiful here in the Chilterns but I do feel a tad landlocked from time to time. It seems strange not to be able to jump in the car and be at the coast in no time. (Thank goodness for the proximity of the Thames.)
ReplyDeleteWell, D, you know what it is like here, trying to get close to the sea in the summer months but rainy days are usually good for the locals!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to live by the coast, but not the seaside- if that makes sense. The rows of beach huts look lovely at some of the resorts but it's a tad too contrived for me.
ReplyDeleteI prefer it a bit wilder. Your pictures are great.
I know exactly what you mean, RO. We used to leave near the beach in Southsea and that was really seasidey with two piers, arcades, a funfair etc. It is quite unspoiled here.
ReplyDeleteIt's great fun to take grandkids to the beach, but I don't see any beaches.
ReplyDeleteThe weather was unsuitable for the beaches on that day (in fact every day at present) so we headed for the rocks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girl, beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nan.
