Amelia's first visit

Here is the latest on Amelia Catherine, known to her fans as 'Millie'. It is very exhausting driving from London to Devon when you are only 6 weeks old.

I don't have to take a bath in the kitchen when I'm at home.

This looks more like a washing-up bowl than my bath!

My towel feels very snuggly having been warmed on the Aga, though. I'll have to speak to my Daddy about getting one.

All dressed up and waiting for more admirers to arrive. Perhaps visiting isn't so bad, really.

  1. Ahhhhh, sweeeeeet! We will all soon be almost as besotted as you, M! You'll be pleased you took so many pics - they grow up all too quickly. It seems no time at all ago that I was shouting 'hooray! no more nappies!', and now, seeing [the outside of clean] nappies makes me go all squishy and nostalgic!

  2. What a sweetheart! I'm green with envy.

My nephew, actually his wife, had a baby girl -- Isabella Daisy -- Sunday and I was in the baby department at Macy's this afternoon trying not to buy one of everything.

  3. Am very cross that wild garlic and horrible deadlines have conspired to prevent me from meeting Milly et al this week . . . Boo hoo.

  5. Ooh, it takes me back to when my kids were that age and needed changing.

It was the challenge I remember most nostalgically.

That is the challenge of finding somewhere else to be until the deed was done.

    Great pictures :-)

  6. Nappy-changing at this stage isn't so bad really, Rob. I might well opt out when she's a bit older!

Thank you for liking the pictures - praise indeed!
BTW - you didn't say if you want to be in the book draw.
