The beautiful granddaughter has now been named: Amelia Catherine. (Catherine is a family name borne by my sister, aunt, grandmother and beyond).
My camera chose this crucial time to develop a fault and not one of my photos is usable. All I have salvaged is this section of video, recorded when she was one day old. I could try not to be a boring grandmother and resist posting pictures but where's the fun in that? You can turn away now if you don't want to see the most perfect, beautiful baby in the world!
Cute beyond words! -- and mum's not too shabby either.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the problem with leaving comments has been resolved, e.
ReplyDeleteYou were right about being a grandmother - it is a wonderful experience!
It may well be possible to get your 'lost' photos back; there is plenty of free software that can recover data off memory cards.
ReplyDeleteI use a programme called 'Recuva'. You get it from: http://www.recuva.com/
ReplyDeleteAaaaaah. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, as sweet as the sound of a newborn; it would melt the hardest of hearts.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon, Grandma!
