Those little indulgences are necessary this week. My husband had an operation yesterday (nothing too serious) so I'm spending my time visiting him in hospital and his mother in her retirement flat. A little Paddington, Marmite and Annie are perfect comforters at the end of the day!
Yes, you're definitely entitled to limitless distractions Maureen. Do hope your husband will soon be feeling much better. In the meantime, may Paddington, Marmite and Annie weave their magic for you.
Well, Paddington, Aga-baked Marmite nibbles and now, the fabulous Annie Lennox. That's enough distractions for one week Maureen . . .

ReplyDeleteMany thanks. All is going well and I hope to have my husband home on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI adore Annie Lennox, thanks so much for this, my other favourite I Saved the World Today which I think we probably all feel we've done daily!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it, DGR and yes, I think I'm saving the world most days, at least I would if only everyone would listen!
ReplyDeleteSaving the World with chocolate cake! A new motto, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteI've always liked Annie Lennox. She's a true original. Many of today's young divas could take a few lessons from her.
She doesn't look as if she has ever eaten chocolate cake, though!
